My electronic system works well for Barnicles but that's about all. Its a diy kit from Jaycar and is available on line. You need some skills for this one. Also it uses power all the time.

Mine works well on Fibreglass and it should also work with a steel hull as it is frequency based.

Ive had the same experience with prickly replies on the forum but dont take it thar serious.
After all we dont have to read those replies do we. I just skim them over, take it ftom where it comes...

I have one of those electronic gadgets from Jaycar with an electrode either end of the boat.
At first I thought it was a gimic but it works very well much to my surprise.
They come in kit form so...
