Re: BVI charter DON'T DO IT!

Thanks for feedback. Was going to charter in Feb, but will do something else. Not sure why they don’t open things up to full vaccinated travelers. BVI and elsewhere for that matter. There is...

Re: Couple and dogs rescued after months at sea

I think they sailed around the world and just missed land by accident! 25,000 miles around the world. 23 weeks at sea. If they could make 150 miles a day they could have lapped it! Very very...

Southerly

Can anyone tell me about Southerly's? I really like the concept of a swing keel, like the layout and design. But I've read varying accounts of the company, their prospects, etc. Also,...

Mono that's Cat like!

Ok, stay with me here.

Wife wants the flat sailing, comfort at anchor and space of a cat. I think they are ugly as hell, don't sail the same and am dead set on a mono. But I'll admit cats are...

Re: Annapolis Sailboat Show Review

Kenomac you're so right about who owns sailboats. Some sailors have little money, some have a lot. But few are really what I'd call the "Rolex" crowd. Sailing is a lot of work. The Rolex crowd...

Re: Shannon HPS 53/57

Sondor asked a good question comparing the 38 to the 53/56, and there are probably more 38 experiences out there to respond, versus the 53/56, so I'd like to hear about any 38HPS sailing experiences...

Shannon HPS 53/57

Re: Best BVI Bareboat Charter Company?

Chartered with Conch Charters in BVI in 2013. Cat was in good condition but a little tired. Service/attitude was ok, but not great. Will try moorings next time. I only read good things.
