Re: Anyone Have Plastic Water Tanks ?
Just a word of warning regarding the inspection ports, and plastic tanks in general. When you fill them up, they will expand and swell. Mine actually lift off the wooden boards under the seat... |

re: Cruise Ship Costa Concordia - MERGED THREADS
It now seems apparent to me that the captain and his first officer were ordered off the bridge by the "mutineers" and that's why they were in a lifeboat together and that's why he was making up... |

re: Cruise Ship Costa Concordia - MERGED THREADS
Nigel, I very much enjoy hearing you share your knowledge about how large ships work. Thanks! I'd like to know more about how you couple and uncouple engines onto a single drive shaft . . . ? |

re: Cruise Ship Costa Concordia - MERGED THREADS
Wrong! It puts the news from Italy in context, i.e., this is not an isolated incident but rather attention needs to be paid to safety procedures on cruise ships. |

re: Cruise Ship Costa Concordia - MERGED THREADS
Unless you believe that running aground in a cruise ship is to be expected when your buy your ticket, I'd say that's news. Personally, when I buy a ticket on a commercial passenger ship, I don't... |

Re: permanent set-up for USB GPS puck
In my experience you don't need the GPS puck outdoors on the rail. I use a USB GPS puck antenna inside, connected to the laptop, and don't have any reception problems. You might try your unit... |
