Water on the bilge? I never had water on the bilge on modern boats. Most of them use saildrive. My actual boat has 16 000 nm, never had water on the bilge.

You are wrong about that. Only cruising boats where a greater importance is given to have a better saloon, without a mast intrusion, in detriment of an increase on mast performance and safety use...
