Thanks folks, so would a DST 810, which connects via NMEA2000 be an example of an intelligent transducer not requiring a separate black box?

Hello everyone

Is it possible to hook up a simple depth transducer (or -dare I hope- a DST Triducer) to the above mentioned MFD without needing a black box sounder unit?

I'm just a cruiser...

Hi all,

finally getting around to installing my IC-M700 SSB, and I'd like to buy a strap to connect my Antenna tuner to the Dynaplate that came with the boat.

Only thing I see is 2" wide thin...

As Wholybee said, if the pole length is just same as J, then it's a spinnaker pole. Also, spi poles are typically stronger than whisker poles, which are not subject to the same compression loads.

The solution would be to install an additional block at the top of the mast. Not a big deal if you own any one of the myriad ways available to climb up there.

well, sort of.

I ended up going with external chainplates, with internal G10 backing plates where the knees used to be.

So it's coinceivable you could laminate layer upon layer of G10 until...
