Re: If No Engine ... Why All The Fuss About "Proper", BIG Electric Motor?
I would add that it depends also on WHO you sail with. I could see a scenario where instead if reaching our intended destination for the night in a cozy cove, with a nice hike ashore and maybe an ice... |

Re: Hello from Minnesota
We actually did it on Lake Harriet on our own boat. We had bought it over the winter, and had it launched before they had their boats ready on Minnetonka, and the Instructor I think lived somewhere... |

Re: Duluth Boat Yards or Marinas
Barker's island seems to be popular, and well run. I have only stopped for lunch myself, but people who use them like it there. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Cruisers Sailing Forum mobile app |

Re: 1972 Aquarius 23
That is definitely a steal for a really great little boat. Very solid, stable and roomy for a 23 footer. Love being able to get ours into really skinny water, and even beach it occasionally. Draws... |

Re: OpenPlotter project
I'm interested. I haven't been able to find the time yet to play with openplotter, but one of my PIs are earmarked for it. Having a cloud based platform backing it would be really cool. Can think of... |

Re: Best Emergancy Insurance /Medivac if fully insured in US
Might be a Massachusetts thing. If Obamacare has some quirks in this area, it's very likely that RomnyCare has it worse. I just know that having recently moved to MA, the healthcare mandate here... |
