I have been in the architectural field, and now structural field for most of the past 25-ish years. I think with the advent of CAD, the skill level has changed and the need for "specialized" people...

Mind if I ask what discipline you do work for? "Design" as in product design, or construction/building related? Are you a Degreed/Registered engineer?

Also, the Harborage at Ashley. Both are on the Ashley River side of the peninsula. There is another one on Cooper River side closer to Mt Pleasant.

Charleston City Marina is supposed to be super nice also, but they have a waiting list for liveaboard last I checked..(about 3 weeks ago). I am hoping to do the same in the future..currently live...

no, the boat was basically a hull only..been out of the water for upwards of 10 years..no sails, etc. Didn't want to take on a total refit unless the boat was free. Lol.
