Midships galley

Looking for a "new to me" sailboat. Having had three previously, I find myself getting more and more stuck in my ways as to what I want.
Recently I have been looking at a s/v with a mid ships galley...

Box jellies are profuse on a seasonal basis off N. Coast of Australia, and, for being so tiny they are deadly.

No.....the ICW....Vero is on the ICW....lots of boats anchor out or are on moorings there. Look at a map of Eastern Florida, you'll get it. The ICW between the shelter Islands and the mainland can...

Marlamoss...anchoring out. Setting your own mooring requires permission from the local water Nazis. ...sometimes you can...most times not w/o a permit or fee.

Estarzinger...of course there are situations that make survival almost impossible....but w/an EPIRB at least you have an idea as to where you might begin to look for survivors if any...and w/a life...

So right. If you have them aboard you rarely have to use them. But it just makes good sense to prepare for that possibility .
