The above sensor change is for the late model ST60 transducer. Although that transducer will work with a st50 head, the speed will not be correct and you cannot adjust for that in the ST50 heads. ...

When you do the two circles, you are linearizing the unit, not aligning the needle. Linearization is done when you have a new unit. It will not do it again unless you do a master reset.

NO. The 4000 is a combined display and computer. The 6000 series are just displays and need a separate computer. Not interchangeable.

You can get heading data over sea talk or direct from the fluxgate compass. Most ST4000 are set up so you get the heading info from a fluxgate compass (5 wires going to the back of the ST4000 head)....

If you had a 6001, the procedure will be about the same for the 6002. You are mixing ages of parts so there will be differences in the 300 manual.

Autohelm made an external power amp for the 5000. It replaces the internal circuit board and is capable of type 1, 2 ,3. The 7 pin cable goes into the amp which then powers your drive

Just tested one and my clutch output is exactly the same as the power supply.
