I guess when you stretch it the offset is only one inch. Accurate measurement for luff is 40.3 ft or 40ft and 4 inches.

I measured the luff of the sail while laying it down on the dock. It measured 45ft long.
The sail is from Doyle sails and comes with sock and sail bag. The sail is like new with no marks or stains...

I am not sure of the cloth weight. However when feeling it it does not seem very light. Also the sail seems very crispy when you handle it, much like a new sail.
