Yes. I attended a public meeting about this at Horseshoe Bay two weeks ago.

Essentially the commercial tourist power boat and jet ski operators want an exclusion zone around their operations...

G'day Simon. I've lived aboard for ten years now, mostly in Townsville, but up and down the coast more recently. The marina here charges a levy to live here, plus electricity monthly.

I had the same problem. There is a software fix. Send the unit back to Raymarine. I'm waiting for mine to come back fixed. I'll let you know how I go :/
