Re: Adding TBT to bottom paint

For all the extreme environmentalists (and there seem to be many) and population conspiracy theorists...

Relax.

Re: Wooden hull for long term cruising

Re: Wooden hull for long term cruising

Hi,

First, there will be a ton of people telling you not to pursue a wooden boat. Some will give very sound reasons, others only opinions based on other people's opinions, hearsay, etc. (but they...

Re: parallel to the SHTF thread - which HULL Material is best for the "days after"?

I would also prefer a good wooden boat. I believe that wood is a product that will always have the tools and material available for repairs etc. As has been mentioned, the material has been used for...

[QUOTE=LostBiker;3019277]This is why I moved to Alaska - just in case. Low population, lots of like minded former military friends, lots of good hunting and fishing, good water, lots of trees and...

Re: Full Keel Sailboats

We have a full keel with a cutaway forefoot. All that's been said about their tracking and the way they feel secure is true. It's also true about the maneuvering in tight spaces. I docked at a new...

Re: Are live-aboard's really treated this way?

It really does depend largely upon how you present yourself and your vessel. At least, in my experience. We have lived aboard in the Bay area for 4 years now. Very mixed reactions depending upon the...

The problem is, that I didnt say that and you made it look as though I did. But since you've admitted to being a liar...then that is what you are.
