Re: Double Doodie in Georgia and Florida

Re: Canadian Considering Boat in Sint Maarten
BTW: Great little boats. I restored one a few years back - still love them. Note though that the outboard on the back end of her is there because they do not steer in reverse without one - unless... |

Re: Rust on new chain plates
We had plates made by a very good metal shop - great people with the best of intentions. We needed 316 stainless. We got unpolished 308 food grade stainless. They were trying to save us money and... |

Re: World-first as man crosses Atlantic Ocean unaided on paddle board
What is that saying . . . . You can cross an ocean in just about anything as long as the weather is right. ;-) Really glad he's been able to raise so much money. |

Re: newer boat vs older in same price range
And Quote Mark J A new boat is new. Old boats need work - but I have never met a new boat that didn't also need work. . . . I like old boats. Without a doubt old boats need more work. The... |

Re: What size sailboat can be safely operated by a solo sailer?
My logic is goofy? I'm a girl and might not be able to turn that winch. When is the last time your CD player got you home? - lol - not hating. Yea, I know its four years old. |

Re: anchoring, unmanned boat dragging -- what would you do?

Re: Is it really that HOT in America and the Caribbean?
Ditto! and in the Gulf the water can be as warm as or warmer than a bathtub - not much cooling happening there. Those mooring breezes can turn your boat into a sauna. I prefer being overly warm over... |
