Re: rPI3 + openplotter -> is it a viable solution?

Hi Ramalkin,
Cool, I think.
So, are you running OCPN on an RPI3 below and running VNC on your Boox and Fire to access the RPI3 via wifi - or maybe bluetooth?
Or, are you running (hopefully...

Re: NMEA sentence for the dashboard

Hi Nick,
I ran into the same problem today.
However, my Pololu MinIMU-9 v2 (L3GD20 + LSM303DLHC) I2C IMU outputs both the pitch and roll as "A" transducer types.

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

Dave..
I added your 3 printfs to s57chart.cpp and saw the following in the tail of the gdb output :

(gdb) run
Starting program: /home/ox/opencpn/build/opencpn

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

I installed armhf 12.04 on a new SD card and built O without touching any of the source.
Downloaded a single ENC (US4GA11M) and observed O crash just like before. Initially I reported that O crashed...

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

Dave,

I sprinkled in some extra printf's to s57chart.cpp so that probably messed up the line numbering.

O was built today from git clone...

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

I gave up on ddd and ran gdb instead. The "yo's" are from my printf in navutil.cpp and the "crash" is from a printf I added to s57chart.cpp just before 615 ppt->x =...

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

Dave..

Thanks very much for the pointers.

ddd runs on armhf but hangs when trying to get GDB running (with gdb being the inferior debugger). I played with ddd on a ubuntu 12.04 x86 host and...

Or put some printfs in s57chart.cpp.
I don't want to use up much of your time or bandwidth on a niche.

It does now. That's a lot of "d"s for a noob. :)
I can try ddd things myself or await guidance.

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

I'm having trouble turning up/on the debug in navutil.cpp. I've changed
Read ( _T ( "DebugS57" ), &g_bDebugS57, 0 ); to printf("Hello O \n");
Read ( _T ( "DebugS57" ), &g_bDebugS57, 1 ); ...

Re: 3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

P.S. If someone could point me to the suspect source file(s), I can add some printf debuggery. And/or, is there a way to turn up the debug volume?

3.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 armhf - Crashes When Opening ENC

I recently got Ubuntu 12.04 armhf (hf = hard float) running on my Beagleboard -xM (BBxM). It was straightforward building 3.0.0 from source on this setup. Overall performance is pretty good. OCPN (O)...

Re: Xoom Quad Band Int'l Armel Running OpenCPN

That's a great piece of work you did.

I mistakenly thought the Xoom had the TI OMAP chipset and that you might have run into similar problems I am having trying to compile OCPN (aka...
