My two cents would be, change to LED. we can run every light in our boat (masthead, three interiors, three navs, all gauges) and still be lucky to draw one amp. I don't buy the expensive turbines are...

Ok, so the consensus seams to be the stay is shot and im risking the mast. Based on this I have found a way to get a new stay before we sail.

Great thanks for that. We ran our charger via the 240v and we were only getting between 2-4amps, however the 12v socket puts out 8.3amp.

We had a similar thing with a clear plastic inspection port on the top of our plastic H/Tank. Could never get it to seal. ended up putting a ring of sikaflex around the threads and winding the lid...
