Is the time stamp adjusted to the local time? Im guessing it's not because at this time of year it would be dark at 7pm. Or is the time stamp related to the time the image was logged...

It definitely warrants investigation - it looks quite angular in shape, possibly tent-like/man-made. The image resolution doesn't help of course! What date was the image taken?

Do you mean the Hook Reef just North of the Whitsundays? If so, the cruising guide "100 Magic Miles" has info about anchorages for it and nearby reefs. We spent 2 nights at nearby Bait...

We are in Yeppoon and cruising north over the next couple of months. We will check the marina here and keep an eye out on our travels. I wish the owner all the best in resolving this, what a shame.
