Shower Frain Pump

Has anyone replaced a diaphragm type shower drain pump with a standard jabsco par max type of pump. Seems to me that it should work fine….and less expensive

We use Firefox with one Ad Blocker. So far the only ad is the CF ad in the beginning of the log on. I don't know why I'm still getting that one.
