Did it once on my 45 sail catamaran. Horrible on the boat and crew. Christmas winds 30knts on the nose steady all the time. After that used I 65 route. Much easier and enjoyable for crew and boat.

If you have any copper ferrule fittings they are a prime candidate for leaks and air intake. Replaced all ferrules in fuel system with proper hose fittings. Chased it for a month. 10 minute fix!
