Check out the link in my first post. It is a tutorial on how to do exactly what you asked. Load Linux over Android and install OpenCpn. I doubt you can fully replace Android unless you want to give...

Well that's pretty impressive. The Atom N455 is a single core 1.6 GHz chip. Are you positive you don't have a discrete video card helping it out? If not, the credit goes to Ubuntu 12 for running...

Linux gets along fine on ARM processors. But you are correct, in order for the kernel and drivers to jive properly he should not get a tablet with an ARM processor that's running windows RT.

You can make a catamaran rotate on an axis or even crabwalk sideways without any modifications as long as both engines work. :thumb:

Also remember that ethanol contains about 3/5 the amount of energy as iso-octane. This is a serious reduction in fuel efficiency. Sooo if your marina is on a lake this probably isn't a big deal...but...

Not surprising this didn't work very well. Along with material, the shape of the reflector is very important. Right angles are what you want, and sales...ummmm....rarely every form right angles.
