Yes, a check of the whole system would be good, especially the bearing at the mast head. It should be easy for the company to inspect at the end of the season and see if it needs a rebuild.

Nope no one… well I’m buying a battery case that already has the Anderson plug 50a x 2 and a 12v lighter plug and 2 usb charging plugs and a volts and discharge status. This costs 70€ delivered....

Just get it fixed, how bad can it be, it probably just stopped working and needs a few parts like brushes, bushes and a cleanup...if worse then take it to a specialist and get it rewound

The problem is that what do you want to tell echotec, then they will send you some parts maybe. One thing for sure is that it is not leaking seawater past the seals or you would taste this...

So use this to measures yours and check that it is the same.

The seal is not supposed to be removed without unit disassembly but i did it. Then do not use sealant on reinstall only rubber grease....

From what I can make out it has 2 o rings and a shaft seal. I want to replace mine before it leaks inside. Afterwards I will coat the joins in sealant.
