Engine room fan, compulsory around here for CE certification.

What would be the correct way to control an engine room fan/ventilator with a VP D1-20?

Hi, I have a similar problem. But I moved to one battery bank system and removed the diode which was same brand as I thought it was not needed. I ended up with the fan running when I turn power on...
