Please excuse me while my eyes roll into the next zip code.
This flag represents evil people in the same manner that the Union Jack represents colonial imperialism—200 years ago, maybe. Its...

Re: Silver brazing for stainless tank repair?
No one is trying to be a dick. We are just trying to propose what we believe are best practices for a proper repair.
If there are extenuating circumstances due to cost, skill, tools, location,...

Re: Fiberglass delamination or hydrolysis or what?
Just let the epoxy cure fully, then give it a good washdown with warm water to get rid of the amine blush. Sand, then wash down again. Then gelcoat to your heart’s content.
Matching isn’t bad...

Re: Silver brazing for stainless tank repair?
No, just weld a sheet SS patch over the pitting/holes. I wouldn’t rebuild the tank unless it’s a total disaster.

The gold standard here is going to be a TIG weld job, with proper gas backing.

Re: 60 foot Catamaran for Couple?
The data you seek is likely to be few and far between.
A 60’ cat is absolutely monstrous, and very few own relatively new 60’ cats.
That is why you aren’t seeing too much data. It’s much like...

Two tracks allows for the hoisting of one headsail before dropping the other. More common in racing. I’ve also heard you can run two headsails wing and wing when running, but I’ve never seen or tried...

Big fire? Stairs likely burned through or halfway there. Smoke is probably banked down to damn near the floor.
You really only have two options:
1) Get low and fight it like your life depends...

As mentioned earlier, I run a 0183 indicator on the mast that feeds the N2K network via an ITC5 converter behind the nav station.
The ITC5 can fail, of course—but then all I lose is wind. No...
