BTW, you are checking the alignment of the shaft to the engine with the boat in the water -correct?

You can do a rough alignment in the blocks, but the final (true) alignment is performed in the...

find the crankcase vent line on top of the engine and clamp it off with vise grips with woodstrips not ot damage the hose.

loosen the oil filler cap and set it back down on the oil fill flange.

Why carry a reserve parachute if the main chute opens 99.9% of the time??

(One less chutes = less weight & less complexity...).

Your boat is small enough to use lines to control it when backing out of the slip (as one blogger already mentioned)..

My boat has a good amount of prop walk in reverse, forcing the stern to port...
