Re: Repair/replace or get rid of generator

Re: So which battery monitor are people recommending nowadays?

We installed the Victron CERBO as part of our LFP conversion. Could not be happier. I would also suggest a look at Electromaax for your alternator change. Their controller and external rectifier...

Re: I need everything electronic what do I Buy

I total agree.

I very much enjoy the integrated data. The stability of the N2K network is much improved over the NMEA0183. It will be interesting to see if stability gets even better with the...

Re: I need everything electronic what do I Buy

Prior to my purchase I had read similar reviews/discussions. I made my choice based on two factors. First, there are only two large scale radar manufacturers left in the world. I knew I did not...

Re: I need everything electronic what do I Buy

Scott, I did do the installation myself. I used Chicago Marine Electronics as my purchasing and tech support outlet. Achillefs is a longtime Greek sailor, with solid experience and good pricing.

Re: looking for a liveaboard slip in Maryland deep enough for our boat

We pushed a bit further south to gain a few degrees air temp. We are at BlueWater in Hampton, VA. We have a 6'8" draft. Haulout would be at Cobb's.

Great folks at BlueWater and Cobbs. Easy...

Re: Volvo engine data interface

Volvo easy connect would be my choice. It is seamless in getting you nmea2000 access.

I have not used the raymarine product. However, all industrial/marine engine manufacturers are protecting...

Re: Hours on Yanmar 110h.p.

The Yanmar ECM records all op parameters and error codes regardless if there is an installed hour meter (or any meter). Any Yanmar mechanic can pull the data with Yanmar diagnostic software. It’s...

Re: New Insurance Gulf Coast--Impossible?

Huh...geniuses equating weather events to climate change. Rather than pretending to know 2nd grade math, maybe backup to 2nd grade science.

Re: Repowering from Volvo to yanmar
