Speed transducer replacement

Hi,

I am replacing Autohelm instruments. I bought a Raymarine I50 speed display which came with a speed/water temp transducer which is about 1 1/4" in diameter. ( it has the one way valve on it)...

I agree that what you are saying is the prevailing wisdom. Do you or anyone else have experience with a P79 Adjustable Angle In-Hull Dual Frequency Transducer or similar?

i did see that and i thought it was the same transducer for a second but the part number doesnt bring up a transducer that looks the same.

I am starting installation of a Raymarine Tridata tansnducer. Because of the depth component it needs to point down but the intended through hull was the knot meter which points nearly...

I am thinking about an Axiom. I can live without radar for the time being.

The autopilot communicates on Fastnet 0183. What do you think the best way to go for interface?

1. Jumped thermostat, fan cycles, no compressor.

2. pulled wire, no fan no compressor

3. is next.

on the controller that will run it can you be a little more specific...

I have a similar problem as OP. The fan comes on and there is a high pitched noise but the compressor does not start. Per Richard's recommendation i pulled the fan wires from the controller and now...

Hi Richard, do you have a specific fan that you would use for replacement? There are a lot of 120mm fans out there but I can't find one that is 4 inches.
