Hard to imagine the filter survived 40 years. But I guess you are right, I could not find any producer markings on the strainer.

It cost me to buy a new pump. It was simple connector sucking in air from water tank to the pump inlet. Purging the system might help as well - water accumulator tank should have purging valve on top.

I am using PVS-14 Gen 3 Night Vision Monocular with headset. Helpful. Thermal is good for hunting - pray temperature signature. Overall with such devices you get what you payed for.

Like "Gamma"?)don't remember exact brand name.. slip up around backstay... not cheap. I was concerned that some emission power will destructed by backstay..

Thank you... I wrap coax over Ferrite Toroid Core next to my rig, but it seems not enough but definitely better. Before my led lights in the boat switched ON after transmit. Just ordered LDG tuner...

After one year in San Carlos Mexico I glad I bought the boat in Mexico.

Marina cost just under $700 for 40' slip - electricity and water included. Security outstanding. Rescue boat available...

Thank you for input, Thinwater. Unfortunately I am not on the boat, but based on discussion with another sailors those inserts are not o-rings - see the picture.
