It's quite a mistake to think that vertically the panel produces less, produces less in the hours when the sun is perfectly perpendicular to the sun, more instead when the rays are not perpendicular....

The Solara panels are actually normal semi-flexible panels incorporated in epoxy. But as I said if it you want to install them on an arch and you want to save money, it's not the right choice.

Low budget, main big Chinese brand (standard modules) are ok, their warranty might not cover the marine use but for 40/50 cents/W you can't ask for more.
