Thanks for the quick response..good idea about photographing...I do have a back up tiller mount..and a 2 foot tiller..but don't want to have to steer far with a small tiller...I'm going to have at it...

Transducers are generally mounted up forward, under the V birth....the place you put the plug, I mean...It would not work to have the transducer in the galley..it must be afore the keel to eliminate...
