Re: "Reality" Youtube Sailing Channels

Re: DoD/CaC/MWR users reports
Thank you for yours as well. I was sorting thru my nav station today and found some more contact info that may be useful. I can't really scan it so I'll just post pics. 273895273896 |

Re: DoD/CaC/MWR users reports

Re: Grounded my boat
Not exactly the inlet, but my Matanzas grounding was beside Ft Matanzas in the ICW, after Dorian "obsoleted" the soundings around marker 81 A,B& C. |

Re: What NOT to bed with butyl tape?
Not yet a recommendation, I've only used this for 2 months but I am hopeful: https://www.lifesafedirect.com/product-page/butyl-caulking-tape-0-75-x-20ft Available from numerous online retailers. |

Did you add the "[physics]" ? For a second there I thought maybe he was a Covid-19 researcher. |

Re: Drawing a blank
Yes, for an "old school" magnet it's pretty strong. The Edmund Scientific "Mighty Magnet" with 200lb lift according to the internet. Previous owner sink his dinghy outboard? |

Re: Want to go Privateering?
Wow. Talk about missing the point. Please don't get triggered so easily. Mods, can you move this to the joke thread ? ("For Entertainment Purposes") Oh, I read the original bit on another site... |

Re: Want to go Privateering?
I think the owner sheltered donated that to a charitable foundation. I think you'd have to be issued your Letter of Marque & Reprisal from the Queen? |

Re: Live aboard boat / Dog
[emoji106] Exactly. Dogs want more than *anything* to be with their people. I think my dog would literally rather be in hell with me, than anyplace without me. |

[emoji106] Exactly. Leaving St. Augustine shortly after Dorian, channel markers had moved. We left at dusk and without radar it really could have been dangerous. As it was, I got closer to a Nun... |

Re: Spoil area on the south side of the Miami channel
Maybe try calling the local TowBoat US or SeaTow folks. They'll know. I've gone past but never closer than 4 miles out. |

Re: How does Sea Tow operators make money?

Re: Comon Rail Diesels- experiance
In my case, the last thing I need is another boat buck ($1000) "must have" spare engine part to carry, along with special diagnostic tools/training. Pretty sure Volvo techs are scarce at sundown... |
