All great ideas but I would check the mixing elbow. If you have the U-type elbow, it's only good for 4 to 5 years tops, if could be causing back pressure if it's plugged. |

Try Complete Yacht Service in Fort Lauderdale, they are Perkins, and Yanmar dealers, there the the guys that invented it about 40 years ago, and they stock them. |

In your case the R stands for remarks. It's telling you that the part number was changed after serial # E25450. The new number for the freshwater should be 129470-42002 |

If that does not fix it, keep in mind it could also be the seal in the injection pump. That's the only two places you can get fuel in the sump. |

X211447009 is correct, but that's the old #. and will work as well. X2114T7013 is the new. Yanmar is always changing part numbers. |

The part number for the starter solenoid is X2114T7013 sells for about $105.00, and you will have to remove the starter to install it. |

With the E in the serial number, and being a 3 cylinder it is going to be a 3gm30, or a 3ym30. Call Mark with Complete Yacht Service, they are in Fort Lauderdale and can send parts to your friend.... |

On a Perkins 4-108 you never bleed that top bleed screw, just for this reason, you only bleed from the screw on the side of the pump, don't believe everything you read. Maka is right, the anti stall... |

Yanmar no longer sells rebuild kits for that fresh water pump. The Yanmar part # for the pump is 121000-42100 $108.10 The part # for the gasket is 121000-42051 $3.71. That pump will fit both the ... |
