Ray Marine Auto Pilot - Fix or Replace?

Should I fix my SPX30 Computer for $1k or upgrade? Are there any potential issues with upgrading...ie: will the plotter , etc need to be upgraded also.
The upgrade computer would be around $2000...

The reason I was requiring this is I am sending in paper work for a new EPIRB we just bought and it requests "Call Sign" on the docs...think I am just going to skip that...

Aluminum Diesel Tank Cleaning

We are have hired someone through our boat broker to clean our fuel tanks as we have bacterial sludge.
Problem is there are not really any inspection ports on the rectangular tank.

We are looking for a cat 38 - 46' preferably less than 10 years old. We prefer a FP or RC make but would consider others. Bonus if it is set up for cruising.
