Short Snubbers are not worthless. They take the shock off the windless and transfer it to the cleats. Used a lot with boats 40 to 80 feet that that have all chain anchors roads. |

You can learn a lot about sailing quickly by volunteering for race crew at a local club. Learning not only how to get from a to b safely, but why which adjustments make a boat go faster improves... |

Twin headsails are a Great idea. If you don’t have a second grove in your headfoil, another idea…..we used to race with bloopers, a kind of second spinnaker on the leeward side. Greatly diminished... |

DO NOT RUN ON THE HARD. We ran the freezer for short periods on the hard, trying to use it as a fridge. MISTAKE. we had to replace the freezer expansion or cold plate. And this was in NZ, not the... |

Didn’t read all the replies, but recaulking is a big job. Just get a tool that holds a razor blade and shave the proud caulk flat. Only recaulk where it is missing or below the teak surface. ... |

We always ask for references, @nd usually speak with three. Don’t have to be sailing ref. Work is fine, but not just friends. Then add all the above bout clear expectations. REFERENCES ARE KEY! |
