well my dingy max motor says 10 hp but 100 pounds. they recommended a 8 for it however I can only purchase four-strokes in the USA. which puts a 8hp at almost 90 lb dry way to much to lift after a... |

Just to be clear Iv never used stp as a additive just for assembly. Learned this from a navy chief engineer. just to lube main bearings, rings and any bearings that have to be heated in order to fit.... |

I'll agree with timing, sounds like your not getting full combustion. Rebuilt a few cummins that where sunk a few years back (rust crusty) Needed to get a offset key way to correct the timing.... |
