Good to hear it worked. Took me 3 attempts as well before success, I think for anyone facing same issue is to be persistant and don`t give up!

Unrelated to plugin, but has anyone worked out a way to update the B&G/Navico Halo radome WITHOUT an MFD (Vulcan/zeuss etc)
I have searched but cannot fond a way to do this from a computer.

Should come in the Axiom kit, there is this remote SD port accessory.

Update to this fixed!

Managed to get onto this the other day and restoring frimware worked - after the third attempt.
Using this recovery method seemed to work, first attempt, but stalled/timed...

Won`t help as not getting a valid ip over the wifi - have also tried manually assigning ip`s (192.168.15.xx and 192.168.1.xx) in the NIC, and cannot connect. Using DHCP it times out to 169.xx ip...

Yep green led normal, as stated transmits and can receive AIS ok, but cannot connect via wireless/app nor can connect via USB cable. Need to reset unit.

Friend has an issue with their XB8000
AIS is transmitting and receiving fine.
Wifi - can connect to it, but no ip address obtained (169.xxx)
Connected USB - detects and com port enabled, but...

Hi,

Mounted the unit under the setee, and ran duct up inside of cupboard.
I think there are a few ledges in aft lazerette, that could mount a small unit.

Depends where you are - we are in a high humidity, tropical climate, so the 12000 does the job well, and need to run it less or not as hard, so net result is less amps used. We had a portable...
