Looking for OWNER's time on a cat
Hello, we are looking to rent a boat for a 1-2 week vacation trip. Do you have owner's time on a charter boat you would like to sell? We are open to any/all locations, sometime this spring or... |

Re: Grenada St Vincent & Grenadines itinerary advice
Right, Hillsborough. I was blanking on the name. No mosquitoes, easy holding, and plenty of space. Not like the "bumper boats" arrangement of tight moorings in Tyrell. |

Re: Grenada St Vincent & Grenadines itinerary advice
Skip Canuoan. We didn't have security issues but there is nothing much to see there anyway. I felt that Tyrell Bay was crowded and touristy. Instead go around to the big beach in front of... |

Re: Windward Island Hell: It’s no longer a safe place to sail.
We just spent a year cruising from Grenada to the Bahamas. There are a lot of boat boys around, but they were all pleasant. We did tip $5 when mooring by the Pitons but otherwise didn't pay anyone... |

Re: Sold on a 450. Dammit!
They're great boats! We were aboard a number of them in the Caribbean, they make great family boats. One of the best boats we spent time on just got listed for sale, it is very well kept up. ... |

Re: Family of 5 starting year long boat trip. Advice?
Congrats on taking the plunge! We just got back from a year with our girls age 7 and 9. Tip #1: Consider hiring someone to deliver your boat south for you. It's a lot of miles, and those miles... |

Re: Genoa car moving backwards under load
I've had the same problem, and it's not user error. My solution was to use a piece of 2mm dyneema threaded through the hole at the front of the car, looped through a little gap between the front... |

Re: new US Customs reporting app
Just used it coming in to Ft Lauderdale from Bahamas. Easy. Quick. WiFi is not needed, worked fine over ATT cell connection. Way better than going to customs in person! |

Re: Security at Anchor Eastern Caribbean
We just spent the year coming from Grenada to Florida. Two thoughts: 1-security. We didn't stress about it. Lift your dinghy at night, lock it up in sketchy towns. Just don't be the easiest target... |

Re: Selloff plans for end of trip?
Good plan, we are doing this now. Cheaper to buy than rent for a year, even with getting hosed on the sale. We are from the Pacific NW, and it was much more practical to buy in the Caribbean. We are... |

Re: 2006 Leopard 40

Re: US to Virgins - a Trip Description and What the Virgins are like after the Storm
We are here now, in the BVI on our path up from Grenada. Dominica, St Martin, the VIs...all have been hard hit, but they are springing back at differing rates. There are certainly fewer charter... |

Re: Boat Boys - moorings and tipping
At the Pitons you have little choice, but we paid a relatively low $10EC (last week). We aren't a charter boat, so I don't think we get the hard sale like the charter boats do...in the Tobago Cays... |
