You can share your android phone gps with your PC too.
If it can charge through the usb cable, and you can tolerate having your phone wired up to the PC, might be good for a backup gps.

This one also works and a couple dollars less. Things have gotten so much easier setting up GPS...

Cheap ALiExpress GPS works windows 10

I have been using it on linux mint for a few years. Cost like $7, simply a puck on a usb cord.
I plugged in win10 version 20H2 (very latest update), windows detected it and set it up as a com3 port....

Ok, I think I found them in folder SENC, 4GB of files.
ProgramData/Opencpn/SENC
Going to delete and rebuild them now.

How can I 'clear out' Noaa charts opencpn has already converted?

I put in the entire USA NOAA charts and did full database conversion.
I then moved the NOAA charts to another folder and deleted the directory to the charts and pointed to the new location, however...

They are treating the radioactive waste in the water by dilution in the ocean, get rid of pollution by dilution. They can not do anything else with it. The damaged plant will also be leaky for ever.

I noticed that also, you cant just click download link as nothing happens, website programming error. I do think opencpn remembers your user profile, so it should still be there.

5.0 version works, 5.2 broken

reinstalled redownloaded twice. Problem is ENC vector chart display 'user standard objects' on 5.2 is greyed out and nothing is selectable.

so i found a 5.0 download and installed side by side
