not sure how ANY anchor would behave when fouled like that. Not specific to "modern anchors" IMHO... They're all going to reset, some easier than others.

Foud some Bahamas entry paperwork left on the boat by the PO. He had a .45 cal pistol aboard and cleared it in through Bahamian customs / immigration apparently.

Walker Bay 8 Sailing Dinghy

Asking $100. Hull only, no sails, mast or oars. It's in good shape but I have no use for it. Came with our boat purchase.

Can't make sense out of the FL submerged lands rule that limits liveaboards to 6 months per year. More pressure added to the few marinas left that can accommodate liveaboards...

A long, long time ago on a boat far, far away I was able to plan routes on my laptop and then upload directly to my Garmin chartplotter. That software was abandoned long ago by Garmin.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm just SOL since I don't have the PC software, just looking at Chart Viewer web app. That may work in port but I'm not going to chase satellite internet just for this...

Just made an offer on a boat that has a Garmin 8600xsv chartplotter at the helm. I should be able to connect my PC to it via WiFi, and use the PC running Navionics as a 'repeater' at the nav station....
