2 340 watt panels from Sun Electronics - Lowest Prices in Solar Panels, Kits, Inverters (https://sunelec.com/) got the grade "C" they look and function great IIRC they were $480 with shipping.

Get yourself one of these so you can check the output of each individual panel. I got mine from Amazon. Is it the most accurate out there? Probably not, but at it's price if it falls into the drink...

Got my 2 340 watt panels from Sun Electric opted for the "C" grade hard to tell them from grade "A" had some scratches on the aluminum and they are working great.

How many amps does it draw? All electronics had some 25 amp solid state relays $8.95 ea. they are single pole so you'd have to double up on them but they have lots of others to choose from.

If you want to keep the setup ypu have why not add a switch for the ground wire? Or if you wanted to get fancy use a relay energized from the ignition switch.
