RCD not prevent you zapped,his purpose you dont killed.also you have rcd 30ma(0,03A)100ma,300ma and 500ma (0,5A)
only safe for all 30mA usually use in bathroom

i check now this ELCI is so expensive in USA . for 1 usa elci 40/50A easy possible by 5 RCBO schneider electric, or schrack. 20-25€ or 25 chinese 4-5€ pices.

i think you are wrong ELCI leakage device not over curent device only safety.

RCBO is leakage and overcurrent device

iam not expert in usa strange wiring (and i don't want thinking how,way)
but if usa ELCI similar for EU Residual Current Device” (RCD).

eu RCD need neutral and live wire only, what you talking...

i still paint mounting surface of zinc anode, yesterday,tomorow and next 10 year. manufacture can say what want i dont need my saildrive in better...

wrong is painted when is new,also only bolt have conection with zinc anode.
for outboard is best you make no any conection with sea water. for example if sit in garage 100 km from sea is best...

i use after remove paint to bare metal Hempel Prop Primer Grey Spray
this is etching primer. after dry use 800-1000 Waterproof Sandpaper
paint.

reset shunt to factory and make new setting again, but 95% shunt is gone. i simply dont know why victron dont make clamp current meter
