Hi there. I have a Triton 26 that needs some work. It has a Petter Diesel engine that runs but not well. I am considering converting it to electric. Any thoughts?

Re: Remove the Mizzin mast?

I agree...

Re: Do you have a Loose Foot?

Re: Goodbye Med - hello Melbourne Australia....

Hi Hoppy
since you arrive in Newcastle, you should definitely check out Lake Macquarie. It is a huge cruising area in its own right, the largest estuary in the world or something.
You can get a...

Re: Is Cruisers sailing forum losing it's way

Censorship has never contributed to the collective wisdom. If someone expresses an opinion a bit more forcefully (whether they are right or wrong), may be the reflection of a bad experience or bad...

Hi Robb and Audrey. This is inspirational stuff. My wife and I are planning to do something similar, leaving in about 2 1/2 months time. Our kids are a girl, three years old and a boy nearly 7. The...

Re: Friend scared to fly but wants to sail instead

Sailing / boating can be a good cure for a fear from flying. Friends of mine hated flying and took a ferry for a six hour trip from the mainland to one of the Greek islands. Six hours of throwing up...

Re: DUI While at Anchor?

Here in Australia, you don't have to be driving a vessel. You only have to be in charge of a vessel. Try to get out of that one. - My wife doesn't drink and she is always in charge

Re: general query-meaning of 555?

5 is ha in Thai language. In txt messages or Facebook, they go 555 for hahaha or equivalent to lol.

More of a connection with boating could be Wyndham Estate Bin 555 Shiraz.
