"Did you update to version 5.8.4? If so, read my earlier posts on this thread about O doing an OpenGL test on start up. You can check your log file to see if this is your problem."

"Open the configuration file opencpn.ini
and edit the lines
OpenGL=1
DisableOpenGL=0"


It doesn't help to do this, OpenGL is still disabled when Ocpn starts and the changes in the config file...

OpenGL suddenly missing.

I use Ocpn 5.8.4 with Open plotter on a RPI 4 and it has worked for a long time but now the OpenGL is gone. The square where it should be activated is grayed out and it´s impossible to activate it...

Something to have in mind when choosing a radar is that they are often only working with MFD/plotters of the same brand.
Panbo compares some different brands of solid state radars.

Ocpn crashes with PPI in docked position

I try to get to my logfile with this command but t does not work.

I changed the setting "GPU drawing method" in radar plugin preferences from Vertex array to shader.
I think Vertex array is default setting because I never changed it.

And this with one zoom level only works in north and course up not in heading up.

It seems as it only works at one specific zoom level and its the same in single and double canvas. Auto is selected in range selector on the radarpanel. Windows is updated. Radar is a Navico 3G.

When show text is enabled in Chart Panel Options the radar overlay disappears.
Ocpn 5.8.4, W10, radar pi 5.5.0.
