It all depends on what finish you are looking for. There is no possible way to remove the painted non skid from the molded non skid without damage to the molded surface. Avoid a heat gun at all... |

If you are going to operate any vessel on any stretch of water where you are likely to encounter any other vessel, know the rules. If not for your own safety then at least for the safety of others. |

Because Rule 17b places a duty on the " stand on " vessel to avoid a collision it cannot be said to have a " right of way". As I Said above, local authorities can make rules and word them any way... |

The use of the term " right of way" was specifically excluded from the ColRegs. US Inland rules are not governed by ColRegs as per Rule 1. |

No vessel ever has a " right of way ". At no point in the entire colregs is " right of way " ever mentioned. You have " stand on " and " give way " vessels. A " stand on vessel" must hold its course... |

Many work boats have Fir decks. Not as good as teak but a good compromise. I have seen a couple of boats with cork. The owners loved the practically of them but they take some getting used to... |

Fill your dinghy up with water. Swing your boom out to the shrouds and use it to pick up the dinghy. Should get enough heel to do some waterline touch ups.. |
