The fresh water tank is also in the bow so that is another 800 lbs or so. I think I am going to have to consider a midships stow box for the chain.

Deck mounted about 36" behind the bow plate. I was hoping that 5/16 would do it for weight reasons as the fresh water is also forward. The Hunter is 27k.

I am looking into going full chain anchoring. Need help figuring out what size and which windlass.
