Im looking at purchasing a vessel that is located in Puerto R. it is USCG documented.

Can anyone tell me if the sale will have a sales tax due in Puerto Rico?

Getting a 54ft Ketch from MI to the Atlantic

How can I get a boat, 54ft Ketch (draft is about 5ft) from St. Clair MI through to NYC? or is there a better way to get to the Atlantic?

Any advise is welcomed.

Panama to Los Angeles - Need advise

Hello,

We are purchasing a boat from Curacao. The plan is to bring her back up from there via Panama to Los Angeles.

She is an Irwin 68ft Ketch, 90,000lbs, Perkins 135 Diesel and in good order....

Thanks - interesting concerns. Im assuming a survey will pick up waterlogged core (bolster I'm sure was the type of wood)... delaminating bulkheads and separation of deck from hull is a huge...

Please help. I have found a vessel that my wife and I love. it is located in Grenada and flagged St. Martin (France).

We have no idea about the tax implications, and or the flagging differences...
