Our insulation was not sealed from the atmosphere and became saturated from condensation and ineffective. We replaced the fridge with totally sealed insulation. No more condensation and way more...

After my 620ah agm bank is full (typically around mid day) I frequently use my 2000w cont inverter to heat shower water heater with 1200w element. Can't do this in NZ winter with 800w solar.:smile:

Yanmar requires that if sailing with the engine OFF (not running) the transmission shifter must be in the neutral position or internal damage to the gear or sail-drive will...

I have been leaving SD20 drives in gear (fixed props) and wonder if this has caused two prop shaft seal failures in 18 months. Two Yamar dealers said it should be OK to leave in gear while sailing.

PO had one made for our L380 from 3/16 alloy. We have no heat problem even in the tropics. It does seem very heavy though. We get some condensation underneath. After 10+ years the paint is lifting...

Fuel transfer side to side L380

I would like to be able to transfer fuel from side to side in case of single engine failure. Looking for an effective & economical way to achieve this. Any ideas?
