If your engine isn't getting to temp change your thermostat but I have found most marine diesels have TOO low thermostats as the hotter you can run your diesel below 100C the better and more powerful...

With my setup and 3 way valves ! points 1 way the other opposite but if you just use ball valves on in and out lines it is easier as you close off 1 filter open the other.
