engine data for NMEA 2000 - noland/Actisense

I am considering installing a Noland RS11 or and Actisense EMU-1 to monitor engine RPM, temp and oil pressure. Does anyone have any experience with either of these products?

No need to use Yanmar oil. They don't have any wells yet. Get a good quality HD oil like Shell Rotella and save. Do use their filters though.

We bought a boat last year with a dead genset on it. It seems that the 8Kw Westerbeke generator was used to charge the batteries through a relatively small battery...

We use about 3 gph at 3 Knots and just over 2 at 7.5 knots on a Defever 41. We made the move from sail to power a year ago. - my wife loves...
