Your thought process is off in my mind. When deciding what overall power to put on a catamaran say a 45 ft. Calls for 80 up. You put in 2 40 hp. Not one 60 and one 20 hp.
Lagoons need more power...

Thats way high, materials should be no more than 2000 dollars. The only that takes more than 15 min to change in forward due to roller furling.

we have been through many times, at both high and low tides. We are 64.5 ' with antenna. Plenty of clearance, if concerned go at low tide.

Overnight will be fine once you get through to gulf side. From Marco to St. Pete, the issue this time of year is stone crab season. If you overnight careful running under power full of crab traps...

Day 1 Miami to chanel 5 bridge, day 2 chanel 5 bridge to Marco island. Day 3 Marco to Venice, day 4 Venice to St Pete. 4 days minimum with good speed and weather.

Be very cautious for crab pots...

I agree with Mikereed100 have been sailing our inside helm boat for 10 years...and over 20k miles. It's the inexperienced coment about not having a feel of the surroundings or approaching weather....
