Thank you Ray, The TI looks like a good tool to keep on the boat while we're away.
Hopefully we can give the locks a try this summer.

Thank you for the information. We've had boats in north Idaho and winterized, but that was a given. Shut off valve on intake with suction hose for coolant, easy-peasy! No set up like that on this...

Our first winter with a boat on the Columbia. Temperatures in the teens next week and we haven't done a lot of preparations. Diesel has 50/50, but do we need to drain exhaust and circulate thru raw...

Thank you for all the support and information. After getting the toilet apart I found numerous cracks in the base.
I'm still not sure if it is an rm69 could very well be an old Jabasco as suggested....

I'm having trouble identifying this head?
Not a Groco.
Can't find a picture of a RM69 with this base although the pump bolt pattern looks correct.
Was told it could be an old Jabsco ?

Thanks to all who gave us advice, words of wisdom and criticism. We just did our maiden voyage this weekend. I now think the engine issue that the previous owner had was bad fuel. He didn't run it...

After thinking about this issue and reading the information that everyone sent we are really looking at electric drive. Cheaper all the way around, and our sailing area is in a large lake, 4-5 hours...
