The majority of aluminum holding tanks have been replaced after 25 years. Most people put in plastic.
The water tanks last much longer, but all water should be filtered through a hose RV type...

My 3 year old Lifeline AGM’s have decreased from 12.6v to 12.1 v in 6 weeks of storage in Maryland.
